Mona Terry serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Victim Services at the Identity Theft Resource Center (ITRC). In this role, she guides and enhances the organization's victim services. She uses her over 20 years of experience in the field to navigate the complexities of identity protection and identity crime recovery. She is also committed to helping victims, educating the public, and fostering strong partnerships.
Mona is instrumental in developing supportive approaches for identity crime victims, including comprehensive recovery plans and education programs. She analyzes victim data to produce the ITRC's "Trends in Identity Report" and provides information on new and ongoing trends in reported identity compromise and misuse. She also manages multimillion-dollar federal grants that bolster the organization's initiatives.
Prior to joining the ITRC, Mona was the Director of Operations at the Better Business Bureau. She holds a bachelor's degree in human development from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
